Rocker Stopper Boat Stabilizer Rocker Stoppers help dampen the rocking motion of boats at anchor. Simply tie Rocker Stoppers approximately 44 cm (18″) apart, making a string of them, with a 5-10 pound weight attached at the bottom of the string. Hang one string off each side of the boat. Just four units per side are what it takes on most boats to 36′. Be sure you hang them where they will always be underwater. Many people use mushroom anchors with their Rocker Stoppers because this type of weight nests well inside the last Rocker Stopper in your string. Use 10 mm (3/8″) braided nylon or 3-stranded nylon line. Use without a weight (or with reduced weight) for drift fishing. Rocker Stoppers will slow down drift substantially. They are also great to use at the end of a dock to stabilize the tip from rocking. Rocker Stoppers nest together and each one is 33 cm (14″) in diameter. It’s lightweight and molded of high impact, virtually indestructible styrene. Can be deployed or retrieved in seconds. Unaffected by salt water and cannot affect the sides of your boat. Units are made to “nest” within each other, so storage is a breeze. Number of Rocker Stopper Units Needed on Each Side of the Boat (Sail or Power):

Rudder Position Indicator
Awareness of the rudder angle is an important safety factor. This is especially true while moving in and out of your berth, drawing alongside another boat, picking up a skier, mooring, or any other "close call" situation. Davis' Rudder Position Indicator gives instant visual reference of rudder angle. The pointer swings a full thirty degrees with each revolution of the wheel. Mounts directly to your hub (approximately 2" (5 cm) in diameter) with a self-adhesive pad . Rugged, hermetically sealed, weatherproof, and sunproof housing ensures long life. No cables, adjustments, or electricity required; gravity power makes it simple and service-free. Suitable for boats with mechanical and single station hydraulic steering systems. |
Secure Removable Chafe Guards - Black (Pair)
Chafe protection is critical at the dock, at anchor, or on a mooring. The Chafe Guard is a good solution to prevent chafing over a cleat, cap rail, where two lines cross or at the anchor roller. Dock lines can be expensive; extending their life with good chafe protection is not. Removable Chafe Guards fit 3/8" to 7/8" line (10 mm to 23 mm). Great for anchor lines or mooring pennants, where chafing through a line could cost you the boat. Velcro_ brand hook fasteners on the inside of the guard grip the line securely; no need for additional strings or ties. Easily reposition when dock lines stretch and chafe protection needs to moved. Made of nylon. Sold by the pair. Each chafe guard is 16" long (40 cm). |
