M80 Sport Tab System

Bennett Trim Tabs are designed and manufactured with pride at the Bennett Marine plant in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Every Bennett system carries with it an accumulation of nearly 40 years of research, development, and testing and is designed to provide years of dependable service.

Every trim tab is sheared and bent, not welded. Welding alters the properties of stainless steel which invites corrosion. Bennett actuators feature through-hull hydraulics. There are no vulnerable external hoses to decay. Plus, every Hydraulic Power Unit is tested by both person and computer to insure this reliable unit deflects the trim tabs, holds firmly during use, and retracts smoothly.

Sport Tabs

Bennett's M80 and M120 Sport Tabs are ideal for trailered boats in the 17-foot to 23-foot range. Their unique Batwing design provides 30 percent more lift than conventional trim tabs and their space-saving design ensures easy installation on virtually any transom. Trim tab kits include two stainless steel trim tabs, two actuators, a hydraulic power unit, all necessary wiring, tubing, hardware and installation video.

Fluid Reservoir

This reservoir is meant for holding hydraulic pump fluid.

How to Use:

• Periodically, check the fluid level in HPU
• With the trim tabs completely retracted, the fluid level should be about 2" from the bottom of the reservoir (approximately 22 ounces) refill, remove the Lexan cover and filler plug located at the front left-hand corner of the reservoir
• Fill with any type of automatic transmission fluid (ATF) only
• Brands running HPU with excess or a lack of fluid will not cause damage to the trim tab system

Relay Module - 12V

A Relay Module reduces voltage drop in Trim Tab Systems with longer wire runs. With the older trim tab controls, RT1000 and RS1000, the Relay Module also functions as an Interrupter Relay and will prevent a fuse from blowing if Bow Down and Bow Up are inadvertently pressed at the same time.

Rocker Switch Control f/BOLT

This control is ergonomically designed, water resistant and provides a positive "click" when the trim tabs are engaged. Its lock-out feature prevents user from pressing down on opposite directions at the same time. The control is easy to install, fitting into any existing Bennett 2 +-inch Rocker Switch hole.

SA1200S Actuator

Bennett actuators are strong but flexible nylon/fiberglass hydraulic cylinders. The piston-like arms push tabs into position. Fluid flows through a concealed hole in the upper hinge at the top of the actuator, thus eliminating external hoses subject to damage.
