The SmartFind M10W transmits vessel position information as well as receiving all AIS targets within 20 miles of the boat. Using the built-in GPS receiver, the SmartFind M10 determines position, speed and course, and once this is combined with other navigational information, it is automatically transmitted without any user interaction. When received by other vessels and coast stations, the data built up to provide a live graphical display of traffic in the area. SmartFind M15S AIS Class B Receiver/Splitter
McMurdo's SmartFind M15S is a low cost receiver that puts AIS technology within the reach of even those on a limited budget. It receives all Class A, Class B, AIS SART, AIS MOB and AIS Base Station transmissions, plotting their positions directly on your chartplotter or PC/Mac using the PC AIS Viewer software supplied. At only 128 mm x 88 mm x 36 mm it is compact and easy to install and set up, supporting integration with existing navigation systems via its NMEA0183 or USB interfaces. McMurdo's SmartFind M15S has the added innovation of a built in VHF Splitter, providing shared antenna capability with a user's VHF Radio, making the M15S more cost effective and simpler to install (as no additional aerial is needed). SmartFind S5A AIS SART Search & Rescue Transponder (SART) for Liferafts The SmartFind S5A AIS SART is a manual deployment survival craft AIS Search and Rescue Transmitter (AIS SART), intended for use on life rafts or survival craft. It meets IMO SOLAS requirements and is a replacement for legacy radar SARTs. Compact and easy to both operate and deploy, the SmartFind S5A AIS SART is a transponder packed inside a quick release carry off bag, that allows a survival crafts location to be identified by rescue authorities and nearby AIS equipped vessels. The SmartFind S5A transmits survivor information, including structured alert messages, GPS position information and serialised identity number.
