DepthTrax 1H Handheld Depth Sounder

The most versatile handheld sonar system ever produced! Not only will this this portable depth finder give you instant depth readings, from 2.5' to 300' (0.7 - 91.5M), in 1/10th precision, but at the press of a button the display will give real time temperature (water or air) and fish readings. Applications:

DepthTrax 2B In-Dash Digital Depth Gauge - Transom/In-Hull Transducer

The DepthTrax 2B is an updated version of DepthTrax 1B. Following years of exhaustive R&D and field testing, we've updated the SONAR algorithms of the DepthTrax 2B to reach new depths. Able to reach depths of 600 ft and tuned for high speed performance, the DepthTrax 2B reaches deeper and performs faster than any depth finder we've ever produced.  The DepthTrax 2B delivers a combination of performance and affordability unrivaled in any other depth sounder. 

The foundation of the DepthTrax 2B is our proprietary algorithmic programming, which significantly reduces false readings and produces unmatched precision. Depth readings are updated four times per second on the no glare, polarized LCD icon display.  We’ve even incorporated a waterproof plug and play transducer connector and a waterproof fuse holder. Finally, we’ve perfected customization with our patented interchangeable face/bezel system. The DepthTrax 2B includes white/black face-plates and trim rings, allowing custom matching to most boat dash configurations. EasyTouch Programming™ gives one-touch access to the user adjustable settings:

•  Keel offset adjustment automatically adjusts depth readings for a vessels’ draft requirements. Dual upper and lower depth alarms can be set throughout the full depth range.
• A 3-stage Advanced Warning System™ clearly signals an alarm condition with an audible alarm, an ultra bright red LED warning light and LCD alarm indicators.
• One-touch alarm muting instantly turns off audible depth alarms.

How To Catch More Fish With HawkEye® Fish Finders

Adjust the Sensitivity:
Adjusting the amount of detail the shown on the VirtuView™ display is as simple as adjusting the fish finder's sensitivity. There are 10 user selectable sensitivity settings to choose from. Select a higher sensitivity setting to show smaller sonar returns on-screen, or a lower setting to remove clutter from the screen. Adjusting Sensitivity also affects how sonar returns are identified as fish icon symbols - more fish will be detected at a higher setting, fewer at a lower setting.

Use the Fish Alarm:
You can set the FishTrax™ 1 to sound an audible alarm when a group of fish are detected. Turn it on, and when a fish passes under the sonar sensor, an audible alarm will sound. You can then use the fish depth scale to drop your bait to a depth that will get it in front of the fish. Leave the alarm on if you are using a crank bait so that you do not have to steadily watch for fish on the screen. If you hear the alarm, gently toss your bait at least 20 feet beyond the sonar sensor, allow the bait to drop to the depth of the fish alarm, and retrieve as recommended for the targeted species.
